First week of April

Still enjoying our time in Houston. Sunday through Thursday we shopped, watered plants, ate some GOOD food went to the library and played with snails.  Enjoy the pictures :)
James and Liza modeling Easter bonnets at Old Navy :)
 Liza, James and Aunt Lynn!
Aunt Lynn was an MK (missionary kid) with my mom.
They have been good friends since 4th grade!

Watering plants with Papa King.
They were very helpful!
 Okay...
This is my dad's shoe print and you can see on the right side a small foot print....that is James'.
Proud to show off his jewelry.
Sweet baby James does EVERYTHING his big sister does :)
She put on their backpacks and took out their magazines
(they used them as maps.)
Off they go to "rescue" someone....that's what Liza said anyway...LOL :)
What we had for dinner one night.
I made the salmon and the asparagus.
Wednesday morning I took them to the library I grew up going to for story time.  We made a craft as well, it was fun :)

We went in, we looked, we smelled we did NOT buy ;)
After the Library I took them to the Galleria because you know...
I can't coming to Houston and NOT go to the Galleria HA!
In the Disney store.
Liza admiring a "Tangled" hair piece.
I loved it too!
Watching the zambonie clean the ice!

Modeling hats at Charming Charlie's

Later that afternoon, I found a snail, Liza had never seen one so we played with is for a while.
She named him/her (how on EARTH do you tell???) Stickerdoodle :)
James was napping which is why he didn't get to meet Stickerdoodle...
maybe next time ;)
We set Stickerdoodle free after playing with him for a while.
Our always exciting trip with Papa King to Costco!
It was a short trip :)
On my way to the rehearsal for the wedding I was this..it is a church sign!
I thought it was pretty cool and different!
Ashton Gardens...the play where the wedding would take place!
More on that next post :)

Until next time.
Blessings,

Flower Garden

Sunday morning before church we went looking for bluebonnets. We didn't see any where we could stop and take pictures, BUT we did go to a beautiful flower garden near the Houston Zoo :)

Pretty flowers, pretty girl!

We serve such a creative and artistic creator!
Could YOU have come up with SO many different colors/types of roses from nothing???
I couldn't...I LOVE nature!!! :)
Watching a painter in the park.
His painting was BEAUTIFUL,
wanted to take a picture of it but wasn't sure if I could.....
Fun tree to climb and take a picture :)
They were excited about the statue :)
Cool ceiling in a Chinese inspired gazebo.
 Peeking through the gazebo.
On our way back to the van, time to head to church :)
James really wanted to see the fountains...so we did :)

Stay tooned for more updated from our TX adventure....
Later this week watering plants with Papa King, Aunt Lynn comes to visit, and wedding time!

Until next time,
Blessings.
